Our Heritage
The story began in 1930, when Bahauddin Shanthoo laid the foundation of the Shanthoo family's handicraft legacy. Driven by exceptional craftsmanship and a commitment to quality, the family's handmade products found their way to Europe through leading exporters and retailers, eventually reaching some of the world's most prestigious luxury brands.
In 1990, his son, Gulzar Shanthoo, carried forward his father's vision. Under his leadership, the tradition of excellence continued, with finely crafted Kashmiri shawls and handcrafted products earning admiration across international markets. Over the years, these creations were worn and appreciated by discerning customers, including celebrities, becoming a symbol of timeless elegance and authentic craftsmanship.
In 2025, PH Pure Hands was established to continue this remarkable legacy for a new generation. Building on nearly a century of artisanal heritage, PH Pure Hands connects skilled artisans directly with customers through online and physical retail channels. Our mission is to preserve traditional craftsmanship while making authentic handmade creations accessible to people around the world—without unnecessary intermediaries.
From a family workshop in 1930 to a modern global brand, our journey remains rooted in the same values: authenticity, craftsmanship, quality, and trust.
Our mission is to support local artisans, preserve traditional craftsmanship, and provide customers with high-quality handmade products that are both beautiful and meaningful. We aim to create a marketplace where craftsmanship is valued and every purchase contributes to empowering artisan communities.
We envision becoming a trusted destination for handmade products by connecting customers with authentic, ethically crafted collections that celebrate creativity, sustainability, and cultural heritage.
